How Gold Procurement and Services Limited handles the personal data you submit through this website.
Who we are
Gold Procurement and Services Limited (RC 9814136) is a company registered in Nigeria with its registered office at 22 Amusa Street, Ilasamaja, Lagos, Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into one of the forms on this site. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your name and the company you represent
- Your email address and phone number
- The details of your requirement, enquiry or document request
- Optional context such as industry, delivery location or a required-by date
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors. Where we measure site usage, we do so only with your agreement — see “Analytics and cookies” below.
Why we use it
We use these details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quotation or send a requested document. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us.
Who sees it
Enquiries are delivered to our own staff by email. Our email delivery provider processes the message in transit on our instructions. Our hosting provider processes the request that carries your submission. If you have agreed to analytics, Google receives the fact that an enquiry was submitted, but none of your contact details or requirement text. We do not share your details with anyone else unless we are legally required to.
If delivery fails
If our email system is unavailable when you submit a form, a record of the failure is written to our server logs so that we can recover your enquiry and respond. Those logs are held by our hosting provider, are not used for any other purpose, and are not retained as a marketing list.
Spam protection
Our forms use hidden technical checks, and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, to tell people apart from automated submissions. Where Turnstile is used, Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser for that check. It does not read the contents of your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting supply relationship, and afterwards only where a record has to be retained. Where a supply record is retained as part of our documentation practice, it is retained as a business record, not as a marketing list.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent you have given. To do any of these, write to goldps.ng@gmail.com or call +234 903 522 2886. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful, so we can improve them. It is off until you agree: when you first arrive you are asked, and if you decline or simply do not choose, the Google Analytics script is never loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and no data about your visit is sent to Google.
If you do agree, Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise a returning browser and records which pages you view, roughly where you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored. We have disabled advertising features, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles or shared for advertising purposes. Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC act as our processors for this, and the data may be transferred outside Nigeria.
When a form on this site is submitted successfully, we record that an enquiry of a particular kind was made — for example a quote request for safety equipment. We do not send your name, company, email address, phone number or the text of your requirement to Google. Those details go only to our own staff by email.
Changing your mind. Your choice is stored in your browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser’s site data for this website removes it and you will be asked again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Apart from analytics, this site sets no cookies for advertising or profiling. If Turnstile is enabled, it may set a strictly necessary cookie for the duration of a security check.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Please see also our terms of use.
